The Second (and Shortest) Month of the Year
February is the shortest month of the year and, in my opinon, one of the most fun months of the year– despite the cold. Many of you already know that I am a hopeless romantic, so of course Valentine’s Day is right up my alley. I have a love affair with Mardi Gras … who wouldn’t?! Girlfriends are the best and a great way to honor them is on GALENTINE’S DAY. Finally, being the movie lover that I am, finishing off the month with the Oscars is the perfect ending to a delightful month, (that is, of course, until the Pandemic).
Hint: I will be sharing details for celebrating friendship with a special Galentine’s Day (virtual) Tea Party. So be sure to check back soon!
How Do You Say Je t'aime?
For me, February is all about love. I was married in February, became a mom in February and Valentine’s Day is, of course, in February. My favorite way to say “I love you” is by cooking something special for someone special. To get things started this month, I think I will shift my gaze to the sensual textures and tastes of French cuisine and take a few lessons from Julia Child. (And who doesn’t love Julia!?)
Be On The Lookout For a New HBO Series Coming Soon
“We are so happy to help bring the incomparable Julia Child back to the small screen, when we need her more than ever,” Sarah Aubrey, head of original content for HBO Max, told Variety. “This show’s look into her life, marriage, and trailblazing career as she transformed the way we talk about food is an absolute delight. Our incredible cast and formidable creative team are a recipe for success, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
